AAP leaders and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann will embark on a hunger strike

On April 7, a major hunger strike headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will take place in Khatkar Kalan, the hometown of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, in protest of his detention.

Yesterday, the party called for a nationwide fasting strike in opposition to Kejriwal’s apprehension. According to sources, the party’s Punjab section will call for a widespread hunger strike in Khatkar Kalan, in which important office-bearers and MLAs will take part. Additionally, the party will observe district-level fasts.

In addition, Bhagwant Mann will initiate a volunteer outreach with the AAP in order to bolster the party’s campaign in these 13 Lok Sabha seats.
