Arriving in Patna for an opposition meeting is Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and chief minister of Delhi, arrived in Patna on Thursday to take part in the opposition leaders’ conference set for the following day. Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, and Sanjay Singh, an AAP Rajya Sabha member, followed Kejriwal.

The Delhi chief minister avoided taking questions from reporters at this airport and instead headed to the Patna Sahib Gurudwara. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, and Mehbooba Mufti, the former leader of Jammu and Kashmir, arrived in Patna earlier in the day in preparation for Friday’s event.

Nitish Kumar, leader of the JD(U) and chief minister of Bihar, called the gathering in an effort to foster opposition unity before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
