Assam Chief Minister questions “foreign influence” on the Congress platform

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accused the grand old party of misappropriating images of Thailand and America for India shortly after the Congress issued its election agenda.

Speaking to X, Sarma stated, “The Cong manifesto has no delivery date on any of its promises, restores triple talaq, removes an elected state government, lacks a strategy to capitalize on Industry 4.0, and worst of all, passes off images from Thailand and America as those of India. Has their manifesto been written by a foreign agency that they hired?

The Congress unveiled their “Nyay Patra” platform for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Friday at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi. It highlights Paanch Nyay, also known as the “five pillars of justice,” which are “Yuva Nyay,” “Naari Nyay,” “Kisaan Nyay,” “Shramik Nyay,” and “Hissedari Nyay.” It also highlights the promises it made to the populace as part of its electoral pledges for the Lok Sabha elections.
