BSF DG wants to make the anti-infiltration grid stronger

Nitin Agrawal, the director general of the Border Security Force (BSF), visited the Kashmir Frontier on Saturday to assess the security environment and the force’s operational readiness along the Line of Control (LoC), the BSF said.

The DG toured high altitude advanced positions along the LoC and had talks with a top BSF officer at Frontier HQ Humhama. The BSF spokesperson emphasized the need to bolster the anti-infiltration grid on the LoC in close collaboration with the Army.

The official said that the DG placed a strong emphasis on tight coordination with the Army during the visit.

Prior to the DG’s arrival, the BSF Kashmir made a social media post expressing his gratitude for the soldiers’ devotion and hard work. The visit highlights the BSF’s ongoing efforts to protect the nation’s borders and maintain vigilance along the Line of Confidence.

Nitin Agrawal supervised the deployment at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar and carried out a thorough tour of Kashmir’s countryside. The DG received a firsthand overview of the security procedures at these important places during his visit.
