Delhi: Cab driver killed after being dragged for 200 meters by robbers

In a tragic event, a 43-year-old cab driver from Delhi’s Vasant Kunj neighborhood died after being dragged down the road for around 200 meters.

Around 11.30 p.m. on Tuesday, the motorist was discovered on the road in a critical condition with a serious head injury, according to the police.

Bijendra, a native of Faridabad, was driving his cab in the Mahipalpur neighborhood when a bunch of bandits tried to take it. Bijendra was eventually confirmed as the dead driver. He attempted to fight off the thieves as they assaulted him, and they killed him by dragging him for about 200 meters.

While the culprit is on the run, Delhi Police has started an investigation.
