Delhi: CM Kejriwal Slams LG Over Law And Order After Transgender Man Found Murdered In Rohini

According to authorities, a 25-year-old transgender man with stab wounds was discovered dead early on Thursday in the Rohini neighbourhood near Japanese Park. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal responded to the murder by restating his administration’s desire for authority over the Delhi Police.

Since LG Sahib and Amit Shah Ji are unable to intervene, the Delhi Police should be turned over to the citizens of Delhi. And how much longer will Delhi’s citizens put up with it? In Hindi, Kejriwal tweeted.

In Delhi, there is a general feeling of terror among the populace. But they don’t have the time, the desire, or the strategy to provide Delhi’s residents protection. How long will people put up with it, after all? Without accountability and responsibility, authority is impossible to have, he said.

Around 4 am, the corpse was discovered, according to the police. It has a chest wound from a stabbing, and a postmortem analysis will reveal if the deceased was stabbed more than once, according to the authorities.

According to a senior police official, forensic specialists who looked at the scene concluded that the crime may have happened elsewhere and that the corpse was afterwards discarded close to the park.

At the Prashant Vihar police station, a case has been reported, and an investigation is underway. Teams have been established to find the culprits and some suspects have been identified, the officer said.
