DU’s Hansraj College Ceiling Fan Falls, Injuring a Few Students
At Delhi University’s Hansraj College, a few pupils allegedly suffered injuries when a ceiling fan collapsed on them during class.
The event happened on Wednesday during a B.Com (Hons) session, and the RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested on the college grounds as a result, blaming the administration for their “negligence.”
The college’s management did not respond right away.
“A running fan toppled in the B.Com II class on Wednesday, hurting a few pupils due to the carelessness of the Hansraj College management. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)’s student branch released a statement saying that students headed by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad “staged a protest in protest.”
Other problems, such as those pertaining to academia, were also brought up during the rally, it said.In the Kirorimal College of the university, the roof of a structure housing the geography department collapsed the previous year.
