For me, Modi adds, the nation comes first, and he vows to raise India’s profile globally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the opposition on Tuesday, saying that while for them it was always family first, for him it is “nation first” and pledging to push India to new heights globally.

“I promise you that we will elevate India’s economy to the third rank in the world over the next few years. Speaking at a public gathering in Sangareddy, he remarked, “Today you are witnessing how India is reaching new heights by becoming a ray of hope in the entire world.”

In Sangareddy, Telangana, Modi announced a number of development projects valued at Rs 7,200 crore.

He went on to attack the INDI alliance for allegedly making the “no family” comment against him, saying that “Congress and its allies have come out to abuse Modi and his family today while Modi is busy fulfilling the guarantees given to you and your family.”

RJD head Lalu Prasad launched a direct assault on Prime Minister Modi on Sunday, claiming that because he lacks a family of his own, Modi often criticizes the opposition over “Parivarwaad” in his remarks on dynastic politics. He posed the question, “What can we do if Narendra Modi does not have a family of his own?”

Prime Minister Modi responded to Lalu Prasad’s statement by saying that his family consisted of 140 crore fellow citizens.

He said that the whole nation was his family and that the leaders of the INDIA coalition parties were furious with him for challenging their dynastic politics.

“This is because I am exposing their hundreds of thousands of rupee scams,” the excuse given is. “I am speaking out against these people’s nepotism,” he said.

He said that his party had kept all of its pledges. “Everyone we promised has been fulfilled, whether it was the repeal of Article 370 or the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya,” he said.

India’s economy is now rising at the quickest rate in the world, according to Modi, who also said, “Today, I want to give you one more guarantee: In the coming years, we will make India the third largest economy in the world.”

“Today, 140 crore people are dedicated to creating a developed India, and having modern infrastructure is essential to a developed India. We have allocated Rs 11 lakh crore for infrastructure in this year’s budget. Our goal is for Telangana to profit as much as can from it,” he said.

“Telangana is known as the ‘Gateway for South India,'” said Modi. Railway electrification is a work in progress. Additionally, six additional stations were created. The economy of Telangana and the neighboring areas will be impacted by these changes.

The Prime Minister’s remarks at a rally in Adilabad, Telangana, yesterday prompted BJP leaders and ministers to modify their “X” profile names to “Modi ka parivar,” suggesting a campaign akin to the Saffron party’s “Main bhi chowkidar” initiative ahead of the 2019 general elections.
