Himachal News: Punjab Model Contacted by Accused for Modeling Project, Allegedly Raped At Hotel In Shimla

Himachal Crime News: On December 22, a 23-year-old model from Jalandhar is said to have been sexually assaulted at a hotel in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, after the accused reportedly invited her there under the guise of a modeling assignment. On Wednesday, the victim filed a complaint at the New Shimla Mahila Police Station.

She claimed in her complaint that she was summoned by the accused under the false pretense of filming a video. She was being harassed at night by the accused when she was lodging at a hotel in Shimla, where she had arrived on December 22. Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) deals with the punishment of rape, and a case has been filed against the accused.

In another incidence, four men are accused of gang-raping a class 10 student on Wednesday at a hotel in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. On the day of the occurrence, the victim vanished from her home, and her family began looking for her.

The fifteen-year-old girl vanished from her home on Wednesday. Superintendent of Police (City) Shekhar Pathak was reported by PTI as stating, “The family members later discovered her unconscious in the room of a nearby hotel.”

Two males, the hotel owner and his relative, have been taken into custody by the police. There are two more accused who have not yet been recognized.
