In Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, a pick-up truck overturns, leaving 14 dead and 20 wounded

NEW DELHI: Early on Thursday, a pick-up truck carrying the passengers lost control and toppled at Badjhar Ghat in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, resulting in at least 14 fatalities and 20 injuries.

At Shahpura Community Health Centre, the wounded are receiving medical attention.
Mohan Yadav, the chief minister, issued an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for the departed family members.

The CM’s office stated in a post on X: “The families of those wounded in the event would get financial help of Rs 4 lakh apiece. The district administration has received instructions on how to properly care for the wounded.”
