In Pune, the G20 Education Working Group will meet to address the development of teachers’ ability

Sanjay Kumar, the secretary of school education, said on Friday that the G20 Education Working Group meeting in Pune would examine improving results in consideration of literacy, numeracy, multilingualism, as well as discussing capacity development of the instructors.

Sanjay Kumar stated in a statement to ANI that the G20’s fourth education working group will take place in Pune from June 19 to 21. This location is ideal since Pune has historically been a major hub for knowledge. In Pune alone, Savitribai Phule established the first school for women in 1848. On June 17–18, he said, there will be a meeting with the state secretaries of education. “Discussions on improving results taking into account reading, numeracy, and multilingualism will take place on June 17. The states will draw attention to their successful efforts in this area. At the occasion, a number of specialists will also provide their recommendations, he added.

“We will discuss teacher capacity building on June 18,” Sharma said. The event will include many educational professionals.

The government is also looking forward to delivering NCERT texts in various languages, the Secretary of School Education said.

“There are 22 languages in our schedule 8.” We will provide books at NCERT level in all languages. We already have novels written in the regional dialect in several places, he said.

Under the theme of “Ensuring Foundation Literacy and Numeracy, especially in the context of Blended Learning,” the fourth and final Education Working Group (EDWG) meeting under India’s G20 Presidency is scheduled to take place in Pune from June 19–21, 2023, and will conclude with the Education Ministerial Meeting on June 22.

Participants in the 4th Education Working Group conference will take part in stimulating lectures and educational workshops that will help to portray a picture of educational innovation.
