ISL match: Kochi traffic calming measures on March 13

The Kochi municipal police have implemented traffic laws in the city before to the Indian Super League game on Wednesday at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kaloor. Vehicle parking close to the stadium’s property is prohibited. Police advised people to make full use of the public transportation system, which includes Kochi Metro.

Parking is advised for spectators from West Kochi, including Vypeen and Edavanakkad, along the Chathyath Road. People should take the metro to the stadium and park their cars at Aluva. Thrissur and Malappuram should leave their vehicles parked there.

Vehicles arriving from the district’s eastern regions need to park at Tripunithura. Parking is recommended for Alappuzha vehicles at Vyttila and Kundannoor.

The city will not let spectator-carrying vehicles to enter. Cars heading from Kaloor to Edappally after 5 p.m. should use the Pottakuzhi-Elamakkara Road.
