Kerala Health Department considers opening ayurvedic wellness centers for visitors

According to Health Minister Veena George, the Health Department intends to establish upscale wellness centers that will provide Ayurvedic treatment to visitors from outside the state in an effort to capitalize on the potential of Ayurveda. According to Veena, the department is going to start providing staff training in addition to developing the fundamental infrastructure for the centers. She was addressing the crowd during the opening of the yoga training facility at the Government Ayurveda College’s Poojappura Panchakarma Hospital site.

The three most crucial facets of the health sector in our period are illness prevention, disease eradication, and health care provision. The Nava Kerala Action Plan for Ardram II plan has ten key initiatives, with a focus on healthy living campaigns, cancer care programs, and lifestyle disease prevention. Veena said, “The AYUSH sector plays a significant role in it.

“Yoga has a big role in maintaining the physical and mental well-being of individuals. across response to this, 1,000 yoga clubs have opened across the state during the last two years, according to the minister.
