Manage your thoughts to shape your own fate: Prez at Spirituality Mahotsav

According to President Droupadi Murmu, the quality of the future is determined by the good actions committed in the present. Our thoughts shape our fate, and our animosity and emotions have an impact on our existence. She said, “We must use meditation to assist us manage our minds in order to shape our future. The President said that everyone may move mankind forward if they make a commitment to bettering themselves and working with altruism, during his speech at the Global Spirituality Mahotsav on Friday at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad.

According to her, the message of this mahotsav, “From inner peace to world peace,” is crucial for ensuring human welfare in the contemporary global setting. She praised the event’s goal of fostering more unity and understanding amongst followers of many faiths and sects, calling it an admirable endeavor for the betterment of humankind.

According to the President, living a moral and spiritual life benefits both the person and the community. Murmu said that the nation’s spiritual leaders, including Swami Vivekananda, Mahavir, Buddha, Jagadguru Shankaracharya, and Guru Nanak, had given the global community the fundamentals of spirituality.

In attendance were Kamlesh D. Patel, popularly known as Daaji, Union Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal, and president of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission.

During a panel discussion titled “Inner peace to world peace,” panelists such as Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Swami Atmapriyananda from Ramakrishna Mission, Sister Usha Behn from Brahma Kumaris, and Ranjana Chopra, assistant secretary, Ministry of Culture, Gaur Gopal Das, shared their perspectives.
