Mann: Congressman Bajwa is raising false claims like a castle in the air

Partap Singh Bajwa was criticized by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday for saying at least 32 AAP MLAs were in contact with him, saying “Bajwa is building a castle in the air by issuing baseless statements.”

In a statement, Mann accused Bajwa of making “imaginative statements” about “toppling” a democratically elected administration. “These imaginative statements of Bajwa are inspired by his ambition to become the chief minister of the state,” Mann said.

He remarked that if Bajwa was so bold, he should discuss the matter with his high command. “The Leader of the Opposition is living in a fool’s paradise over the issue and is issuing baseless and irrational statements to mislead the people,” said Mann.

In addition, Mann published a post on X criticizing the Congress leader. “Partap Bajwa (Bhajpa), you’re talking about the Punjabi government that was chosen by its citizens? I am aware that Congress snuffed out your ambition to become chief minister.

Punjab, according to Congress leader Bajwa, is totally in debt.

“The Lok Sabha elections will take place in seven to eight months. I urge all Punjabis to vote for us in all 13 of the state’s Lok Sabha seats. I can tell you that the AAP administration would fall when they lose all 13 seats in less than two months,” Bajwa had stated.

“I’m in contact with at least 32 MLAs in the AAP administration. 18 people are seated in Congress. It would be completed with a few more attempts, he had promised.
