JP Nadda, the head of the BJP, prayed on Wednesday at the Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in this city.
Nadda visited here to launch the “raths” that local party officials would use to tour the state and get public input on their electoral platform.
This year’s assembly elections are coming up.
Arjun Ram Meghwal, a Union minister, and Kalicharan Saraf, an MLA, were in Nadda’s company.
The party chief thereafter departed for the Birla Auditorium, where he would address party officials.
