No Loss Of Life Or Property Has Occurred In Hyderabad Because Of Prolonged Rains, Says A Telangana Minister

According to Telangana’s Minister of Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has not seen any losses in terms of life or property as a result of the continuous rain over the previous five days.

The Hussain Sagar lake in the city, which was overflowing after heavy rain, was visited by the Minister and authorities, according to a GHMC announcement. 428 monsoon emergency squads, according to Yadav, have been working nonstop to prevent any inconveniences for the populace.

He was reported in the statement as adding that since the emergency services, police, and members of the Disaster Response Force (DRF) coordinated their efforts, there were no issues with the public.

The control room was visited by GHMC Mayor Vijaya Lakshmi R Gadwal, who asked about the complaints that had been received from the impacted individuals. Given the recent rains in the city, she gave GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose the go-ahead to implement additional sanitary maintenance efforts.

On Saturday, Telangana saw a reduction in the amount of rain. However, due to the rain, highways were damaged, and agricultural fields and low-lying regions in certain sections of the state continued to be flooded.
