No ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Broadcast for Three Months During the Lok Sabha Elections, Says Prime Minister Modi

In keeping with political etiquette, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that his monthly “Mann Ki Baat” program will not be televised for the next three months due to the impending Lok Sabha elections.

In relation to the anticipated publication of the election timetable early next month, he said in the program’s 110th episode that there is a chance the Model Code of Conduct may be implemented in March, just as it did during the most recent polls.

He noted that the show’s 110 episodes have been kept out of the government’s shadow, which is a major accomplishment since the show is devoted to the nation’s accomplishments and strength as a whole. The prime minister said, “It is a program of the people, for the people, and by the people.”

“The 111th episode of Mann Ki Baat will air when we meet again,” Modi said, mentioning the number’s fortunate significance. He said, “What could be better than this?” The prime minister has often said that he believes he will win the elections and stay in office.

Additionally, the program was postponed before to the 2019 general elections.
