One woman is among four drug dealers in the police net

Last night, the police apprehended two drug traffickers, one of whom was a woman. They also seized 107 kilos of opium, 60 intoxicating pills, and Rs 1 lakh in drug money.

The people detained have been identified as Resham Kaur, a resident of Nasirabad village close to Phagwara, and Ranjit Singh, a resident of Mananhana village close to Mahilpur, according to Superintendent of Police in Phagwara Rupinder Kaur Bhatti. At a checkpoint close to Nasirabad, the suspects—who were riding a scooter with registration number PB36K2661—were apprehended.

The car they planned to sell alcohol from was seized by the police. The suspects were the subject of an NDPS Act case that was filed.

Last night, next to the neighborhood bus stop, the police apprehended a drug dealer who was in the process of using narcotics. Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Palahai Gate, Phagwara, has been identified as the suspect. Along with the intoxicants, the police also found a cigarette lighter and a bill indicating that he intended to take another dosage of intoxicants. The suspect was the subject of an NDPS Act case that was filed.

Last night, the authorities apprehended one another narcotics dealer and seized fifteen grams of heroin from his hands. Rithim Khanna, a resident of Mehli Gate, Phagwara, has been named as the suspect. At a checkpoint close to Konika Resorts, he was arrested. In accordance with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the police filed a case against the suspect.
