organized soil health program
Under the auspices of the Agriculture Department, DRDA, and Kinnaur Krishi Vigyan Kendra, a one-day soil health program was held today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Reckong Peo).
This time, educators and students learned the value of doing a soil test before to planting crops as it may determine which nutrients the soil is deficient in and if the land is appropriate for agricultural production.
A thorough explanation of soil testing, soil sampling, the significance of nutrients detected in soil, and the mobile app for the soil health card were all covered in this event.
Principal Shashi Kanta, Dr. DP Bhandari, Agricultural Development Officer (soil testing laboratory) Rajendra Chaudhary, sub-divisional Soil Conservation Officer Rajesh Dhiman, District Agriculture Officer OP Bansal, and others were there on this particular occasion.
