Pakistani Bhindranwale relatives and KLO head pass away

CHANDIGARH: Following a heart attack, Lakhbir Singh Rode, a terrorist of Khalistani origin and the leader of the outlawed groups Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) and the International Sikh Youth Federation, passed away in the neighboring country of Chandigarh.

He was the nephew of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, a Khalistani terrorist who was killed. Because Lakhbir was implicated in the 1985 Kanishka bombing of the Air India jet, he was classified by the UAPA as an “individual terrorist.” Meanwhile, Paramjit Singh Dhadi, an Amritsar-based associate of Rode, has been taken into custody by Punjab Police in the UK.

Lakhbir Singh’s brother Jasbir Singh Rode has declared his death in Pakistan. He added that on Monday, his brother had already been cremated in Pakistan. “Our brother’s son, who resides in Canada, has notified us that his father passed away in Pakistan on December 2 due to a heart attack. I guess they cremated him over there. However, there is no proof of it. Jasbir said that Lakhbir, who had diabetes, had just had a bypass operation and had not been feeling well for the previous two weeks.
