Poll code violation: Chand Cinema’s AAC still has CM’s photos in tact

Pictures of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are still visible on hoardings at the Aam Aadmi Clinic (AAC), which is close to Chand Cinema, in violation of the model code of conduct. While the majority of the photos have already been shared, they are nonetheless unique.

Since the model code of conduct has been implemented, the state health department has already written to every district head in the state, requesting that they either remove or cover up any images of the chief minister.

The Aam Aadmi Clinic is under the jurisdiction of Dr. Rupinder Gill, who said that he has already given the relevant personnel orders to hide the images.

“It is obviously against the poll code, so I will ask the doctor in question to cover the picture once more,” he said.

In addition to the outside, all of the clinics now have portraits of the Chief Minister inside, and some of them even have flex boards with pictures of the Chief Ministers of Delhi and Punjab.

BJP leader is notified

The Ludhiana BJP president, Rajnish Dhiman, received a notice from the Assistant Returning Officer, Ludhiana West-cum-Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, on March 16. The notice stated that some party employees, namely Sunita Saini, Aman Saini, and Balwinder Singh Bindar, had broken the poll code. A camp was set up on March 17, which was against the poll rules.

Through WhatsApp, the office got a complaint about the same. The BJP president has been instructed to respond to the office within a day and to specify whether or not permission was obtained to host the camp. The Assistant Returning Officer said that the Election Commission would take action against the offenders if the reply was not provided on time. Today, the notification was delivered.
