President Murmu Gets New Identification Card

At Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Tuesday, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, P Krishnamurthy, presented President Droupadi Murmu with her new voter ID card.

According to authorities, Krishnamurthy went to Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 10th in order to help her “change her voter ID address” from Odisha to Delhi.

The president’s office said in a post on X that “President Droupadi Murmu received her voter ID card from Shri P Krishnamurthy, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

On July 25, of last year, Murmu, an Odisha native, took the oath of office as India’s fifteenth president.
