Stop the media snooping in Kerala, says K Surendran

The LDF administration and the CPI-M in the state are said to be conducting a media witch hunt, according to K Surendran, head of the BJP unit in Kerala.

According to Surendran, it is clearly obvious that the mafias and those with access to illicit funds dominate the current administration.

Surendran said that it is disturbing that an MLA from the governing party openly declared that media outlets and employees who criticise the CPI-M and the government would be fired.

He said that Pinarayi Vijayan is attempting to transform Kerala like China out of his conceit of serving a second term in a row. According to the CPI-M, only media outlets that support the government should operate here, as they do in China.

He said that Radhakrishnan, president of the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club, had received death threats from CPI-M cyberterrorists.

Surendran, an MLA who has spoken out against PV Anwar, said that Anwar is personally in charge of the cyberattack on journalists.

In an effort to suppress certain internet publications, he is seeking to restrict media freedom in the state. He said that it is obvious that Anwar’s illegal resort, cheque dam, black money, etc., were reported by the media and are to blame for the animosity.
