The BJP accuses AAP of mismanaging the budget

The Arvind Kejriwal-led administration was criticized by Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and Assembly Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri for how they handled the city’s budget and allegedly ignored matters of popular concern. Sachdeva said that Kejriwal was using the Assembly as a cover for the corruption and ineptitude of his government.

Sachdeva said, “Kejriwal has maliciously and purposefully suppressed the budget that President Droupadi Murmu approved on February 19.”

In addition, he said that Kejriwal had turned to making unfounded claims and hiding in the Assembly in order to divert attention away from his shortcomings and avoid being looked into by law enforcement.

Additionally, Bidhuri disapproved of Kejriwal’s actions in the Assembly. Bidhuri added, “Kejriwal uses the Assembly as a platform to hurl abuses at the Central Government, BJP leaders, and the lieutenant governor of Delhi.” He said that Kejriwal’s purported corruption was being covered up by this behavior.

The leaders of the opposition also expressed worry about the improper distribution of funds. They said that important public matters were being neglected during Assembly meetings.

“Millions are spent in these sessions, but meaningful solutions are impossible if the public’s fundamental problems are ignored,” Bidhuri said.

The leaders of the opposition implored the Lieutenant-Governor to act decisively in these affairs. “We call upon the L-G to dismiss Kejriwal’s government because he disobeys the law and governs the Assembly with impunity,” Bidhuri said.
