The Goa Chief Minister’s Remarks Following the Alleged Son Murder of Bengaluru CEO

Panaji (Goa): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Wednesday that the case involving the alleged murder of a four-year-old kid in Goa by his mother, who was later taken into custody from Chitradurga, Karnataka, is still being investigated.

“The moment the cops discovered anything odd, they detained that lady. Police are conducting an inquiry and will pursue the matter to its conclusion, Mr. Sawant informed ANI.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suchana Seth of a Bengaluru start-up was detained on Tuesday on suspicion of killing her young son in a Goa hotel.

The accused lady was apprehended in the Chitradurga district of Karnataka, according to the police, while attempting to escape in a taxi with her son’s corpse put in a bag.

“A lady requested a transport to Bengaluru from the hotel personnel. When the hotel workers went to clean the room after check-out, they discovered reddish-brown streaks, which they took to be blood. The personnel notified the police right away,” said Nidhin Valsan, the North Goa Superintendent of Police.

According to the police source, the accused seemed dissatisfied with a recent court ruling that allowed her husband to spend Sundays with their kid.

According to a police official, the accused and her spouse had been going through a divorce since 2022.

“Mother is placed in six-day police detention by a Goa court. The boy’s father recognized him and said that they were married in 2010 and that their divorce was filed for in 2022. The father is to be seen on Sunday, according to a recent court ruling. The accused lady seemed dissatisfied with the court ruling while being questioned by our investigative officers, according to SP Valsan.

According to the police, the mother informed them that she had left her kid at a friend’s house in Goa when they asked her questions.

“When the police arrived at the hotel, they made an effort to speak with the lady via the driver. When the woman’s son was asked about by the police, she said that he had been staying with a friend. But the address the lady gave the police turned out to be a phony,” the official said.
