Youth Congress holds anti-“joblessness” demonstrations outside MP House

In an attempt to disperse themselves, the police had to deploy water cannons and tear gas on Tuesday when members of the Youth Congress attempted to scale the barricades during their protests against concerns including unemployment, the Harda firecracker factory explosion, and crimes against women.

40 to 50 protestors were arrested by the police. The Assembly is now in session discussing the budget.
