Ahead of the “Pran Pratishtha” event, sports stars Sachin Tendulkar and Saina Nehwal arrive at the Ram Temple grounds

NEW DELHI: Several sports legends, including renowned cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble, brilliant shuttler Saina Nehwal, and seasoned cricketer Mithali Raj, arrived at the Ram Temple premises on Monday morning as the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla draws near.

Prominent figures who have been invited to attend the historic occasion include IOA president PT Usha, Venkatesh Prasad, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Saina Nehwal revealed her enthusiasm by saying, “I think this is a big day for all of us.” It is a blessing that I have been able to come here today. Here, Lord Ram’s darshan will take place. Thus, we are awaiting that occasion.My happiness is beyond words.”

Similar thoughts were expressed by Mithali Raj, who said, “I feel what one feels when they are at a highly sacred site…I believe it is a calling to be here on this momentous event, and we have all desired this for a very long time. We’re all glad to be here and take part in the celebration because it’s a celebration.”

Anil Kumble said, “It’s a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion,” to convey his sentiments. I’m honored to be involved with this. It’s really historic. Anticipating requesting blessings from Ram Lalla.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief of Staff Mohan Bhagwat, and other dignitaries are scheduled to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event in the afternoon.
At the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the sports celebrities celebrate this momentous and historic occasion with the rest of the country.
