DC’s 20-run victory against RR keeps them in the postseason picture

New Delhi: The Delhi Capitals defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs on Tuesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in this city, maintaining their chances of making it to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Playoffs. Kuldeep Yadav and Mukesh Kumar bowled outstanding spells as bowlers came to the fore.

Following contrasting fifties from Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel, Tristan Stubbs added the final touches with a 20-ball 41 to push the Delhi Capitals to 221/8. Kuldeep and Mukesh then bowled crucial periods of 2-25 and 2-30, respectively, to limit the Rajasthan Royals to 201/8.

With the victory, DC moved up to a tie for fifth position in the standings with 12 points, along with the Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Chennai Super Kings.
