Hardik Pandya’s sentiments are echoed by Ravichandran Ashwin, who claims that visiting the West Indies is not “easy”

Veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has supported T20I skipper Hardik Pandya’s remarks against the West Indies by using an instance of an absurd circumstance that occurred during the third T20I on Tuesday. All of this occurred when the play’s start was delayed for an unusual cause that had never before occurred in cricket’s more than 100-year history.

The 30-yard circle at Providence Stadium apparently wasn’t marked on the ground, which caused the game to be postponed. It wasn’t discovered until after the players and umpires had stepped onto the ground and were forced to retreat inside the pavilion.

Ravichandran Ashwin, an off-spinner for India, said the West Indies are a simple country to go “for reasons like this” in response to the unusual occurrence. Click here to see the tweet:

Prior to the series, Hardik criticized the West Indies Cricket Board for failing to provide basic facilities. “When we visit the West Indies again, things could be better. The West Indies cricket board should take notice of this and make sure there are no hitches with things like travel. We don’t want luxuries, but we do need certain fundamental needs met, Pandya stated during the post-game presentation.

Pandya’s remarks coincided with news that the Indian squad had been stuck at the airport for around four hours because of delayed planes.

India would be eager to continue winning as the action now switches to Florida, USA, after dominating the Test and ODI series.
