IPL 2024: CSK vs. RCB: Watch Virat Kohli at his most aggressive, as his very animated farewell to Rachin Ravindra goes viral

After a brief hiatus, Virat Kohli returned to the cricket pitch and was immediately back to his usual aggressive self as he entered the field for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

As RCB faced the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the IPL 2024 on Friday, March 22, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Kohli was the center of attention.

Even though RCB lost badly in the first game of the tournament, Kohli’s participation was still one of the key attractions of the much anticipated match.

In their first game against CSK, the former captain of the RCB was at his most enthusiastic on the field as he did his best to uplift his team’s spirits in the middle after CSK got off to a hot start in the run chase.

Earlier in the game, CSK rookie Rachin Ravindra grabbed charge and hammered the bowlers all over the field after RCB made a total of 173/6 in their 20 overs while batting first.

His explosive 37 off only 15 balls came to an end in the seventh over when Rajat Patidar caught him in the deep by mistake, bowled out by Karn Sharma.

The footage of Virat Kohli giving Ravindra an angry send-off was caught by the cameras and has gone viral on social media. It shows Kohli at his most combative on the pitch.

Virat Kogli’s innings on Friday came to an end because to outstanding cooperation between Ravindra and Ajinkya Rahane at the boundary line earlier in the game.

On his comeback to the game, Kohli was out of sync when it came to batting as he struggled to get going against the bowlers of CSK during the powerplay.

After winning the toss, the RCB had a terrible start to their innings. Kohli could only muster 21 runs off 20 balls before being bowled out by Mustafizur Rahman in the 12th over.

Bengaluru managed to reach 173 thanks to Anuj Rawat’s 48 and Dinesh Karthik’s 38, but the Super Kings managed to chase the total down in only 18.4 overs, despite a 95-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

On Monday, March 25, RCB and Virat Kohli take on Punjab Kings in their next game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
