Ireland Cricket has confirmed that India will visit Ireland in August for a three-match T20I series

The ICC announced on Tuesday that Team India would shortly travel to Ireland for a three-match T20I series. All three games will take place in Malahide, a suburb of Dublin, between August 18 and 23, according to Ireland Cricket. Following the completion of the two-test, three-ODI, and five T20I trip of the West Indies, India will embark on its second tour to Ireland in a calendar year.

On Tuesday, June 27, the series’ specifics were decided upon, with India scheduled to visit Ireland once again. The Irish cricket board is excited to host the Indian squad for a bilateral series, according to Cricket Ireland’s chief executive Warren Deutrom.

“We are thrilled to have India Men visit Ireland once again in the next 12 months. We had two sold-out matches in 2022, so having a three-match series this year should allow even more fans to take in what is always a special event, according to a statement from Warren Deutrom, as reported by ICC.

“Our sincere thanks to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), first for continuing to include Ireland in the busy schedule of the Indian team, and also for working with us to ensure as fan-friendly a schedule as possible — having matches on a Friday and Sunday will hopefully maximize the availability of fans,” he said.

Under the direction of Hardik Pandya, the Indian squad had went for a 2-match T20I series the previous year. Umran Malik, a fast bowler, made his international debut in the first game, while Deepak Hooda was elevated to the position of opener. India won the rain-delayed match by 7 wickets after chasing down a meager 109-run goal.

Deepak Hooda, an all-around player, batted third in the second game and recorded his first international hundred. As India overcame the hosts by 4 runs to win the series 2-0, Sanju Samson hit a heroic 77.
