Rinku Singh was added to the India ‘A’ team for the England Lions’ second four-day encounter
NEW DELHI: Rinku Singh, a white-ball specialist, has been called up to the India ‘A’ team for the England Lions’ second four-day encounter in Ahmedabad, which gets underway on Wednesday.
Singh, who is well-known for his potent batting in the Twenty20 International format, made his ODI debut during the South Africa series, scoring 17 and 38 in the two games.
With 44 first-class match experience, the Uttar Pradesh left-hander has scored 3109 runs at an outstanding average of 57.57.
Singh’s addition to the India ‘A’ team provides firepower after last week’s tie in the opening four-day encounter against the England Lions.
