Lok Sabha polls: Ather Jamal Lari will run with a BSP ticket, causing a shock to the Samajwadi Party in Varanasi

Jamal Lari, a shock to the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, would run for Lok Sabha on the BSP ticket in Varanasi. The Congressman Ajay Rai is a contender for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, while the BJP’s candidate is Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bheem Rajbhar and Balkrishna Chouhan have emerged as the Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) candidates for the Azamgarh and Ghosi seats, respectively, in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. As the BSP’s nominee for the Azamgarh seat, Bheem Rajbhar hopes to use the party’s base of support and perhaps upend the current political landscape in the area, indicating the party’s calculated move into crucial election battlegrounds.

Voting for all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh will take place over the course of seven phases, which will begin on April 19 and end on June 1, according to a statement from the Election Commission.
