The LS elections in 2024 will destroy oppositional hopes: Yogi

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, attacked the Samajwadi Party, the main opposition party in the state, in the state legislature on Friday. He said that NDA would win all 80 seats in the state in the next Lok Sabha elections, shattering all of their hopes.

Using a poem by Dushyant Kumar to criticize opposition leader Akhilesh Yadav, the chief minister recited: “There is no land under your feet but amazing that you still don’t believe it.” According to him, it was clear that the mandates for 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2022 had not been provided by the public haphazardly.

In response to Akhilesh Yadav’s claims that stray bulls were bothering the public, the chief minister replied that the bull in question had previously worked in a slaughterhouse. These are now considered cattle, and we revere them as “Nandi.”

The chief minister further mocked Akhilesh by asking his uncle, “Shivpal ji, don’t you worship in the form of Nandi,” in response to the opposition’s notice of adjournment on the flooding, drought, and heavy rainfall in the state. Shivpal ji, these folks would never grasp the worth of you, he continued. You have been the victim of injustice.

Yogi said that the observance of Janmashtami and the Kanwar were both outlawed by the previous SP administration. However, I said that all prisons and police stations would celebrate Janmashtami with fanfare when I arrived. The shutdown of the illegal slaughterhouse, he said, not the bull, was the root of their issue.

CM Yogi poked fun at Akhilesh by claiming that those who have grown up eating with a silver spoon won’t be able to comprehend the suffering of Dalits, farmers, and the poor. Everybody in the state is aware of what he did to the terribly and radically backward people.

The majority of farmers would not have committed suicide under the SP’s administration if he had given even a little consideration to Chaudhary Charan Singh’s advice. The relevance of the “annadata” farmers will be lost on those who are fixated on gold and silver. He said that they won’t even comprehend the suffering of these farmers.

In his hour-long address, CM Yogi said that the opposition leader could only see Gorakhpur’s flooding. You must be aware that Gorakhpur had water logging as a result of receiving 133 mm of rain in a single night. There, people are content. They are aware that the water logging will end.

In response to CM Yogi’s query on encephalitis, he said that the Samajwadi Party has four opportunities to serve as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. What did you do for all that time? You still don’t have an answer. I’m pleased to tell you that we completely wiped out encephalitis in the first term.

“With the exception of this year’s first rains, the rains cannot be characterized as favorable or excellent. By convening a meeting, we have already determined our plan of action. Flooding in the Himalayan rivers has caused extensive agricultural damage. Additionally, orders for its examination have been made. In this respect, steps are being done, he added.

The CM said that opposition party members were debating the issues facing the farmers in Bijnor. You should be aware that rescue crews are always camped there and that 20 leopards have already been rescued from there. He promised that we would rescue and safeguard the animals in addition to keeping the farmer safe.

On the last day of the monsoon session, SP President and Leader of the Opposition Akhilesh Yadav brought up the topic of inflation in the house. He said that farmers were not receiving a fair price for their potatoes and that they were still being kept in cold storage.

Akhilesh brought up the problem of attacks by leopards and tigers in several areas of the state. The farmer, according to him, is unable to work in the fields as a result, he said. At least 40 people’s lives were taken by them. What is the government doing if farmers are unable to work in the fields for six to seven months because of fear? What actions is the affected department doing in response? In the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, 40 people perished. What exactly is the government doing? He received government compensation under the Samajwadi regime, and it was in the range of Rs 10 to 15 lakh.

Yadav brought up the problem of stray animals forcefully. He asked the government why they weren’t addressing the issue. Do you have a limited budget? If nothing else, at least organize a bull safari. There is no longer a neighborhood where a bull assault wouldn’t have resulted in a fatality. There are several places, including Sambhal, Moradabad, Chandausi, Moradabad, Hasanpur, and how many more should I mention, where you have avoided dying from a bull attack.

When they attacked last, I sent the government a list of individuals who perished as a result, but no aid was offered to them. The head of SP said, “I want the government to work on this so that people’s lives can be saved.”

He said that the state government has to assist those individuals and provide government employment and Rs 1 crore to the families of those killed in the riots. Don’t look to check what religion he practices throughout this. Everyone need to be assisted.

He brought up the death of a farmer and questioned why individuals who are committing suicide due to the drought do not get financial assistance. In addition, he wanted recompense for those who died during Muharram processions, including Kanwars.

33 people participated in the debate. The state assembly’s short monsoon session was called to an end on Friday afternoon. In addition to passing many new measures during the five-day session, new house rules were adopted.
