UP: Former MP Dhananjay Singh, accused in the Ajit Singh murder case, surrendered in court

Mafia and former MP Dhananjay Singh has surrendered in MP-MLA court of Prayagraj on Friday. The court against the Dhananjay Singh had issued a bounty of 25 thousand with the issuance of non-bailable warrant in the Ajit Singh murder case in Lucknow. After his surrender, the hearing is going on in the court.

In Lucknow's Ajit Singh murder case, former MP Dhananjay Singh was accused by the Lucknow Police. After which the CJM court issued a non-bailable warrant against him. Dhananjay Singh was accused by the police of plotting the murder. Girdhari, the chief shooter of the Ajit Singh murder case, had named Dhananjay for questioning. After the interrogation, when the accused was being taken to the spot for recovery of arms, he was confronted for his escape from police custody.
On January 6, former block chief Ajit Singh was shot dead in Vibhutkhand, Lucknow, in which Dhananjay Singh escaped in order to avoid arrest. On Thursday itself, many of its bases were raided and Lucknow police had declared a reward of 25 thousand, after which former MP Dhananjay Singh has surrendered in MP MLA Court of Prayagraj.
