UP: Mathura Temple forbids nighttime wear and shorts
Half-pants, Bermuda shorts, and miniskirts are not permitted within Radharani Temple in Barsana, according to a recent edict.
According to a sign left outside the temple on Thursday, the directive will take effect in a week, according to Rasbihari Goswami, a temple representative.
Night suits and ripped jeans are also not permitted within the shrine, according to the officials.
A few months ago, the Radha Damodar temple in this city forbade visitors wearing such attire from entering.
A clothing rule was implemented on June 21 by the administration of the Birua Badi temple in the Budaun area, prohibiting the wearing of jeans, t-shirts, night suits, ripped jeans, and other similar attire within the temple.
