10/10 If You Can Figure Out How Many People Are in This Mahindra Scorpio?

In India, wedding festivities are lavish affairs that combine tradition, festivity, and ethnic diversity in a vivid way. Large cascades that bring together friends, extended families, and perhaps even distant relatives are the hallmarks of these gatherings. Cars packed with people are a familiar sight during these celebrations, particularly at events hosted by family members or close friends. One such incredible video, which is making the rounds online, depicts the incredible sight of a Mahindra Scorpio packed with a staggering eighteen people—not nine or 10.

You really read it right. Surprisingly, the 9-seat SUV held 18 people, which goes against the common wisdom about car capacity. As the video plays, the Mahindra Scorpio is seen standing at the site of an event. Passengers exit the vehicle one by one when the gate opens, ranging in age from children to adults, leaving onlookers perplexed by the apparently insurmountable task of fitting so many people into such a small area.

The user “Narsa” posted the video on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) with the comment, “Desi people when they go to any marriage or function.”

People on social media are laughing heartily at the now-viral video, which has received a lot of attention online. Over 76,000 people have seen the video so far, and a deluge of responses has been left in the comments area by the online community. While some people responded to the video with hilarious emoticons, others began to speculate as to why the van would have exceeded its capacity and suggested that it might have been a “village function.”

The remark “India is not for beginners” was made by X.

“Celebs coming to Jamnagar for Ambani pre-wedding,” the account said, tying the video to Ambani’s pre-wedding events.

“Scorpio the beast,” yelled one person.

One user added, “Gaon ka function (Village function),” speculating as to why so many individuals were riding in the same vehicle.

“Everything is possible in India, mai kuch bhi possible hai,” said one person.
