Internet Users React When Kimberly Winter Sets A New Record For The Loudest Burp

A lady from the US broke the record for the loudest burp ever heard, setting a new record in an unexpected category. The previous record holder, Kimberly “Kimycola” Winter, raised the mark by burping at 107.3 decibels. To avoid capturing any reflected sound, her burp was captured in a sound studio. On the DJ Elliot Segal-hosted radio discussion program “Elliot in the Morning,” she caught the burp on tape. Her burping video has now gone popular on social media.

The video was posted on the Guinness World Records’ official Instagram account. The caption on the post said, “Loudest burp (female) 107.3 db (C-weighted) by Kimberly Winter @kimycola.”

The article was a collection of different videos showing Winter sneezing in various settings. She burped at the recording studio, and a clip of that incident was included in the video.

Internet users responded to the strange record in a variety of ways by posting comments on the new record holder. While some netizens applauded her, others were shocked that such a record ever existed.

Giving records away pointlessly, a user complained. “Kimberly’s record-breaking burp is louder than a blender (70-80 dB), an electric handheld drill (90-95 dB), and even some motorcycles at full throttle (100-110 dB),” a second internet user said. A third person asked, “Which kind of record this girl go break like this.” A fourth viewer said, “She drank lots of fizzy drinks to do this, not the best record.” A fifth said, “Ngl they be giving records to everyone at this point.” Sixth: “She’s like: Hello, I’m Optimus Prime.” One more added, “Guiness award for this purpose.”

Elisa Cagnoni of Italy previously held the record for the female division with a burp that was recorded at 107 decibels.

In the male category, Australia’s Neville Sharp currently holds the record for the loudest burp, with a burp that registered 112.7 dB in 2021.
