Man’s Drone-Delivered Pizza Experiment Goes Viral, Splitting Netizens on the Concept

A guy decided to use a drone to deliver pizza, pushing the idea of “fast delivery” to new heights. The experiment’s creator, Sohan Rai, chose to spend one day working for the delivery service Zomato. The guy decided to create a drone to simplify the labor after becoming aware of the difficulties encountered during these deliveries. On social media, a video documenting the whole procedure has gone viral. The action caused a rift among netizens; while some praised it, others regarded it as a means of eliminating employment.

‘Sohan Rai’, a user on the social media platform Instagram, posted the video. “Drone Delivery: A thing that we have been hearing about for a very long time, but have not seen it actually happening in India,” the caption on the video said. I wanted to utilize my talents to construct an autonomous drone that could deliver pizza to a house without a pilot since I am a great drone lover. Here, I used a lot of Jugaad to build the drone, and it would be much better if it were made for profit. This was an experiment that was carried out safely and responsibly.

Rai eagerly asked the audience if they wanted to watch a pizza being delivered by a drone at the start of the video. Then he told the tale that inspired him to create the invention. Rai said that he experienced the challenges that delivery agents encounter every day by dressing up as one for the day. Then, using the necessary tools, he went about creating a drone. The guy constructed the drone, experimented with it, then used it to deliver a pizza. Another drone that was flying above the delivery drone captured footage of the delivery operation. The pizza was successfully delivered in the end.

Three days after it was posted, the video already has 1.1 million likes. Rai’s plan to construct the drone split the internet’s users, with some praising the concept while others warning that such machines would cost delivery employees their jobs.

There were many comments supporting both points of view in the post’s comment area.

“Me: Okay, thanks for the pizza and drone. “Bye,” stated a user. A second user said, “Bro realized how difficult the Zomato job is so he decided to make a drone to make them job less.” “Bro picking up Dominos and delivering Pizza Hut,” a third person stated. Fourth viewer: “Delivery boys losing jobs soon,” they said. “Bro used a drone to deliver a pizza and then recorded it with another drone. A fifth person said, “Bro took Instagram more seriously than Zuck. The sixth person added, “Delivery Boys lost their jobs and Drone pilots lost their jobs as well as drones.” Seventh: “What if the consumer chooses cash on delivery?
