Nora Fatehi: Authors must use their intelligence and create personalities for us; we are not only here for aesthetic sake – Exclusive

Typically, people associate Nora Fatehi with her glamorous avatars and screen-busting dancing routines. The actress quickly established herself as a talented dancer, and her profile has skyrocketed in popularity. Nora did acknowledge, however, that she’s a cliche and that not many filmmakers have been able to go beyond her glitzy exterior.

Nora attempted acting in her most recent film, “Crakk,” which marks a significant departure for the actress. Alongside Nora, Amy Jackson appears in the Aditya Datt-directed and Vidyut Jammwal-produced movie. While the ‘Crakk’ crew was speaking with ETimes, Nora encouraged authors to come up with more intriguing roles for female performers.

“It’s not men against women, it’s about great writers and incredible men like Aditya, Vidyut, and Arjun that encourage women to perform like this,” Amy remarked, echoing Nora’s thoughts. Nora said, “Yes, it’s about pushing our writers to use their brain and write good characters for women because we exist and we are not here to just look pretty.”
But, Nora acknowledged that maintaining a beautiful appearance is a full-time effort as well! Like a real boss woman, Nora said, “Yeah, we better look pretty, but it should be pretty with substance!”
