She advised that we progressively cut out all added sugar from our diet after first reducing the amount of refined sugar in it.

Instead of using dairy whiteners and cheese powders, use natural dairy products like milk, curd, and cheese.

Instead of using sugar crystals, use fruits and berries as natural sweeteners.
The last argument raises further concerns about the sugar content of fruits.
The dietitian also dispelled several misconceptions around this.

Although she acknowledged that eating sugar is sometimes seen unfavorably, she emphasized that the added sugars included in processed meals and sweets are the main concern. This is not the same as the sugar found in fruits.

There are four primary types of sugar, according to Sheena: glucose, fructose, sucrose, and lactose. They are all unique as well. She said that fructose, or natural sugar, is the ideal kind to consume and that ingesting the other in large quantities should be avoided. The common one we utilize on a daily basis is sucrose.

The expert claims that in addition to sugar, fruits also contain significant amounts of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The final recommendation is to consume two servings of fruit daily.
