Vendor in Faridabad fatally stabbed

It is said that a guy, sixty, was discovered dead in his home here yesterday night.

Satish Kumar, a resident of the NIT-2’s D block, was named as the victim. An anonymous individual is said to have fatally stabbed him, but fled before the family could be informed of the occurrence.

Yatin, the victim’s son, reported to the police that his father was discovered dead on Saturday night at approximately nine o’clock after returning from work. Yatin’s father used to make a livelihood by selling soda drinks from a wheeled cart next to the bus station.

Around 5:30 p.m., he added, his father had come home from work, but nobody was there. The deceased is said to have been followed into the first-floor home by an unnamed young person who was known to him, who then fatally stabbed him before anybody could react.

According to a police officer, a murder case has been filed, and the accused will probably be taken into custody shortly.
