We’ll keep fighting until we get justice, says Sakshi Malik

Olympic medalists Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia said on Monday that they will keep up the struggle for justice and that none of the wrestlers had given up.

“This report is entirely inaccurate. None of us has given up on the pursuit of justice, and neither will we. Along with Satyagraha, I’m doing my duties as a Railways employee. We won’t stop fighting until justice is done. After hearing that she was withdrawing from the demonstration, Malik wrote, “Please don’t disseminate any false information.

Similar to his national teammate, Bajrang also tweeted that rumours of the FIR being withdrawn were “completely false.”

“The report of the movement’s withdrawal is untrue. These rumours are being propagated without our will. Neither have we stopped the progress nor have we retreated. The notion that female wrestlers had returned the FIR is also untrue. Until justice is done, the war will go on, according to Bajrang.

In a demonstration against outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi, and Bajrang have been calling for his arrest on charges of sexual harassment against seven wrestlers, including a minor.

It should be noted that starting last week, all three of the Indian nationals have resumed their positions as Office on Special Duty (Northern Railways).
