According to a statement from the STF, the defendants are claimed to be part of a group that was engaged in the question paper leak of the Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board examination on February 17 and 18.

The test was canceled by the state administration due to claims of a widespread paper leak. This month, a few persons were taken into custody.
