UP: A wall fall at the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan causes five fatalities and perhaps ten injuries

At least five persons were murdered and almost ten more were injured in a terrible event that happened Tuesday near the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan when a building’s wall fell. Apparently, a bunch of monkeys were fighting on the wall when it fell, causing a significant disaster in Uttar Pradesh. The wounded people were sent urgently to nearby hospitals.

Fear engulfs the area

The crumbling wall of the home is thought to be to blame for the disaster. It happened close to the city’s Banke Bihari and Sneh Bihari temples. The moment the tragedy occurred, there was a commotion on the scene, and people immediately began to flee in fear.

 

Adherents among the wounded

After much work, the villagers managed to extricate individuals from beneath the rubble and get hospital admission for the wounded. Some devotees, according to accounts, are also hurt. A police team has been sent to the area, and the rescue effort is under progress.

 

Statement on the incident from Mathura DM

The tragedy was discussed by Mathura District Magistrate Pulkit Khare, who acknowledged that five persons had died and four others were still being treated in hospitals. “The police squad is on the scene. According to the regulations for persons who have passed away and are receiving treatment, the compensation will be examined. Teams are investigating the situation, the speaker continued.
