‘Could Have Broken A Tooth’: Man Discovers Fried Screw in Bag of KFC Chips

The worldwide adoration of KFC’s cuisine is well known to many of us. Their menu has a broad range of selections, from their delicious non-veg burgers to their savory chicken wings. However, a recent incidence that was rather unexpected has surprised many individuals. A guy in the UK had an unpleasant surprise when he found a metal screw within his KFC dinner. According to Metro, this event happened only last week when 25-year-old Callum Feehan bought a meal from the KFC restaurant on Canterbury Street in Gillingham. After eating some chips when he got home, he suddenly felt the presence of something metallic. To his amazement, he discovered a fried screw amid his meals. He said he “could have broken a tooth” if he had taken a bite out of it.

The guy reportedly responded, “I bought the meal and came home,” as reported by Metro. I could feel something rattling about in my mouth as I placed a bunch of chips in my mouth, and when I drew it out, it was a fried screw. I luckily avoided breaking a tooth, but I could have.

The IT employee tried calling KFC on X, but he didn’t get a response until he suggested alerting Environmental Health. He said that KFC has not responded to him since he uploaded a picture of the metal thing.

He continued by stating that he wasn’t really happy. KFC utterly ignored him for at least 48 hours after he promptly contacted them on X (previously Twitter).

“They didn’t respond until I warned them about environmental health. They requested a picture, inquired about the place of purchase, and promised to get back to me. There hasn’t been anything since that happened on Sunday, he said.

The client expressed his displeasure with the business’ inadequate reaction and perceived lack of accountability. He said that he often frequents that specific KFC location once or twice each week and has previously had small concerns. He is more worried that the corporation doesn’t seem to care that he found a strange item in his meal. Given his frequent patronage of the business, he finds it astonishing that his report hasn’t been taken seriously.

Following that, a KFC representative stated: “We have strong procedures in place to ensure that no extraneous items penetrate the meal we serve. We take allegations of this sort very seriously as a consequence, and we can confirm that our staff is looking into them right now. To keep Callum informed, we communicate with him as well.
