Learn More About Ravi Kishan’s Daughter Before She Enlists in the Indian Army

Ishita Shukla is the daughter of politician-turned-actor Ravi Kishan, who would shortly enlist in the Indian Army’s Combined Defence Services and march in the parade at Kartavya Path the following year.

Ravi Kishan, a Bhojpuri actor and BJP MP from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, gushed about his daughter’s accomplishments when he shared pictures of her online along with a comment indicating that she would soon be enlisting in the Indian army.

To encourage young Indians to join the armed services, the Union government unveiled the Agnipath initiative in 2022. Ishita Shukla participated in that plan and, as the actor noted in his social media post, has been working arduously for the last three years to join the military.

Ravi Kishan posted a message on Instagram on Wednesday, saying, “My brave daughter Ishita Shukla has been working very hard for the past 3 years to serve our nation.” She is a cadet of the 7 Girls Battalion of the Delhi Directorate, preparing in the freezing cold and combating the fog for the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, he said in his caption. A proud time for her father since she will participate in the national parade on January 26 in front of the nation’s leaders Shri @narendramodi and Smt. @durapadi_murmu.

According to reports, Kishan had previously discussed his daughter’s desire to enlist in the Indian Army. Ishita Shukla, my daughter, told me in the morning that she wanted to enlist in the Army under the Agnipath plan, according to what he allegedly claimed at the time. Go ahead, beta, I said.

Ishita Shukla is said to be a cadet in the Delhi Directorate’s 7 Girls Battalion who has fought hard through challenging weather conditions to be able to take part in the Republic Day Parade, according to Kishan’s tweet from today.

According to reports, Shukla will serve in the Indian Army for four years, beginning with a six-month training period and ending with a deployment.

Ishita Shukla has also shared photos from her training sessions on her own social media accounts.

On June 14, 2022, the Union Cabinet authorised the ‘Agnipath’ recruiting programme, which would enable young Indians to join the armed services. The young people chosen under this programme are referred to as “Agniveer,” and they will have the option to sign up for permanent cadre jobs in the Indian Army.
