Patiala: Politicians participate in Iftar festivities and Good Friday prayers to engage with constituents

Politicians from all political parties are working harder to win over voters from a range of ethnic and religious backgrounds.

Leaders are doing all in their power to win over voters, from attending Iftar gatherings to taking part in Good Friday prayers and interacting with pilgrims on route to Ayodhya.

Christians and Muslims, who are mostly Hindu and Sikh voters, have the power to swing the Patiala parliamentary seat in their favor.

The BJP’s top candidate for the Lok Sabha election, MP Preneet Kaur, was present at the Iftar gathering in the Patiala (urban) area.

The Patiala Royal family has a lot of influence on the Muslim community. Preneet is attending the events to build relationships and show support for Muslim voters, since she is anticipated to run on the BJP ticket, according to a political expert.

In addition, Preneet was seen conversing with pilgrims while traveling to Ayodhya.

Dr. Balbir Singh, the AAP nominee from Patiala, joined the Christian community in Bhadson today for Good Friday services.
