Close aides of a Haryana minister are scheduled in Ludhiana

A charge has been filed by the Ludhiana police against a minister’s close aides in the Haryana Cabinet. The allegations of sodomy, criminal breach of trust, criminal conspiracy, and dowry harassment led to the registration of this case at the women’s police station.

Himanshu Aggarwal, his mother Sangeeta Aggarwal, father Arvind Aggarwal, sister Mehak Aggarwal, uncle Sachin Aggarwal, and Sachin’s wife Nishu Aggarwal are the names of those who were booked. They are all Ambala City citizens. Registration of the lawsuit began on April 3.

The complainant, a Ludhiana city resident, informed the police that she and Himanshu Aggarwal had a destination wedding in Mussoorie in 2021. Himanshu and his relatives began tormenting her at home as soon as they were married. On the grounds that she had brought less dowry, they used to even mistreat her. Contrary to what they say, her parents paid a large sum of money for her marriage and gave her millions of rupees when her husband asked for them after the marriage, yet she was still tortured.

The victim said that the minister and her husband had visited her family at a hotel in Ludhiana in order to arrange a marriage, and that the minister had been referred to as a part of their family.

The complainant further said that the minister would make crude remarks and would be watching her closely. The allegation also identified the minister and his wife, but the police inquiry turned up no evidence of their involvement. According to the FIR, legal action would be taken against the minister and his wife if further inquiry reveals their involvement.
